Pat-Kam School and Early Childhood Center was founded by Ron and Geraldine Clahar in May of 1987. The inspiration for this school was because of their dissatisfaction with the education that their daughter Patricia was/was not receiving.

This institution started in an old colonial house with two students and two teachers. That old colonial house has been incrementally converted and re-expanded to its present state of twelve classrooms and a capacity of two hundred students. The founding philosophy of the school is

 “ Because the end depends on the beginning.”
